shipping policy

Please allow up to 7 business days to receive your order after your payment

has cleared. Melanin Tresses Collection takes a minimum 7 business days to

process your order. Once your order has been processed, it will take 7 business

days to receive your package depending on the shipping method selected. You

will receive a confirmation email once your package has shipped along with

tracking information and estimated time of arrival.

Most cases, orders will ship before the 7 business days. During peak season

times, processing time will be extending to 12-15 business days. During peak

season, we highly recommend that you do not wait until the last minute to place

your order to avoid disappointment. Please order 2-3 weeks in advance during

peak season to receive your order in time.

Orders being shipped internationally  may take 10-15 days to arrive after processing, International customers may be subject to duties and/or taxes. Melanin Tresses Collection is not responsible for any duties/taxes incurred by the customer.

 

Peak Seasons:

Christmas(November - December)

Wedding Season (May - August).

 

Please note, weekends and holidays are not counted as business days.

 

In the event, that shipment is delayed due to weather, carrier delays or strikes,

natural disasters or pandemics, Melanin Tresses Collection will not be held

responsible.

 

Carriers : Canada Post ,FedEX & DHL

 

Orders are shipped through Canada Post, FedEX or DHL. Once a shipping label has

been created, a tracking number will be sent to the email provided. If you do not

receive an email with tracking details, please contact us immediately.

 

Please verify that your shipping address is correct to avoid any delays in

shipping and delivery. If your address is incorrect, please contact us within 24

hours at melanintressescollection@gmail.com. In your email please include your name,

order number and correct address.

 

Please note, there will be no refunds issued for refused or abandoned shipments.

All carriers may leave a notice of their attempts to deliver. As a customer, it is

your responsibility to make arrangements to have your package picked up once

multiple attempts to deliver has been made by the carrier.

 

Lost & Stolen Shipments

 

In the event that your package has been lost in transit or deemed delivered but

you have not received the package, please contact us immediately. We will

contact the carrier company and start an investigation. The time frame of the

investigation will be based on the carrier company. Depending on the

investigation results, if the package has been determined to be lost by the carrier

company, a replacement of your package will be sent to you. If the investigation

results show that the package was delivered, Melanin Tresses Collection is then

not responsible and it becomes the customers’ duty to contact the carrier

company. If the package has been sent back to us, a member from our team will

contact you via email and send out a new tracking information and package will

be shipped at our expense. 

Melanin Tresses Collection will not be responsible for any stolen packages. It is the customers duty to contact the carrier company.
